Ever wonder if your gifts matter?  For those who so generously donate time, materials, and expertise, take a moment to read this!  If you are thinking about helping with donation quilts, but need a little motivation, read on ... the guild received this email recently:

"Hi! 

I am a nurse at at a local children's hospital, and  I just wanted to tell you how beautiful the quilts are that were donated to our unit. 

Your volunteers do a beautiful job.  I hope they realize that they comfort a family and need and brighten the crib/room of a critically ill infant.  You may never hear any thanks from the families during this stressful time, but I am certain they are appreciative. 

I know that we nurses are always happy when we get donated blankets/quilts in for our patients.  Keep up the good and lovely work!
